Miss April
I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Educational Studies. I also have an Early Childhood degree from Delta College. I have had a wide range of experiences working with children from birth to 6 years of age having worked in preschool settings for 22 years. I love teaching and being around children to see them grow socially, spiritually and academically.
As a teacher my goals are to help children learn to their fullest potential. Children are eager to learn, and I enjoy being the kind of teacher that helps them succeed in their education. I strive to provide these children with an academic environment that creates a positive learning experience. Children learn through play, exploration, discovery, and curiosity. It’s also my goal to share God’s word with his precious little lambs.
Ms Deb
I have been an educator most of my life. I taught elementary school for 27 years, 18 of which were spent in kindergarten. During those years I instituted a gifted education program in our school and earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have conducted numerous workshops for teachers of early childhood age children and can think of nothing I would rather do than teach.
My passion for education is eclipsed by my passion for working with young children. I love their energy and enthusiasm; and the challenges of helping them learn and grow in a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment is what I love most. I believe all children have the capability to learn given opportunities consistent with their individual learning styles and interests. It is my goal to provide an atmosphere filled with active learning and a sense of wonder while sharing the love of Jesus with his precious little lambs. My husband and two grown daughters tell me that this is where I belong and I am excited for the adventure.
